You can apply for a Driving Licence in Hyderabad through the official Telangana Transport Department portal (transport.telangana.gov.in) or the central Sarathi Parivahan portal (sarathi.parivahan.gov.in). The process has two stages:
Stage 1: Learner's Licence (LL)
Apply online at sarathi.parivahan.gov.in and upload the required documents: age proof, address proof, and passport-size photographs.
Pay the Learner's Licence fee of Rs. 200 online.
Book a slot for the online theory test and appear at the designated RTO. Pass the test to receive your Learner's Licence (LL). The LL is valid for 6 months.
Stage 2: Permanent Driving Licence (DL)
After a minimum of 30 days from the LL issue date, apply for the Driving Licence test online.
Pay the DL fee of Rs. 300 and book your driving test slot.

Private vehicle DL (issued before age 30): Valid for 20 years from the date of issue.
