It covers key components like the battery, motor, and charger ensuring protection against costly repairs and unexpected issues. Inbuilt Covers
Battery Cover
It covers your Tesla’s battery and Battery Management System (BMS) from unexpected issues like power surges, electrical leaks during charging, or water damage leading to rare chemical reactions, helping you stay worry-free with support for repairs or replacements when needed.
Motor Cover
We’ve got you covered for internal damage caused by water entering the motor, coolant leaks, or overheating of the traction motor that could lead to smoke, flames, or explosions so you can focus on the drive, not the damage.
Charger Cover
Our coverage protects your charging equipment from issues like damage caused by rodents inside the vehicle, theft, power surges, and moisture buildup. It includes key components such as the charging cable, fixed wall unit, and adapter ensuring safe and reliable charging every time.
Depreciation Cover
When your Tesla or its parts need repair after damage, we make sure you receive the original value for the replaced parts instead of their depreciated value.
Consumables cover

Return to invoice
With Return to Invoice (RTI) cover, you get back the ex-showroom amount you originally paid including taxes and fees if your Tesla is stolen or cannot be repaired.

Tyre cover*
We cover the repair or replacement of your Tesla’s tyres and tubes if they’re damaged accidentally or due to impact. However, issues from manufacturing defects, chemical exposure, or weather-related wear aren’t included.

Loss of personal belongings*
Rest easy knowing your personal items inside your Tesla are protected during an insured event. We cover loss or damage to belongings for you and your family listed in the policy excluding valuables like electronic devices, cash or jewellery.

Compulsory personal accident cover for owner-driver
Compulsory Personal Accident (CPA) cover offers up to ₹15 Lakh protection for the owner-driver in case of an accident while driving, entering, or exiting your Tesla. If you already have CPA from another insurer, you don’t need to buy it again.
Towing support
If your Tesla can’t be fixed where it stands, we’ll tow it to the nearest authorised garage within a 50 km radius.

Easy steps to file your claim online
To reach out to us - Call us on 1800 266 4545 (8 am – 8 pm) or write to us at prioritycare@zurichkotak.com to register your claim or visit our website or download the app.
Post claim registration, we will provide you with a Claim Reference Number.
You will be required to submit the relevant documents including ● Your driving license ● RC Copy
A surveyor will be appointed immediately and we will conduct the survey within 6-8 hours if within the city limit and 24 hours if outside the city limit.
Upon confirmation of the availability of the cashless facility with the preferred network garage, the vehicle can be repaired, and the payment is made directly to the garage. You will only be required to pay the deductible mentioned in the policy and the depreciation value, etc. as informed by the surveyor.
Post work approval by the insurer, the vehicle can be repaired by the policyholder at the garage of their choice. For reimbursement, submit all bills, payment receipts, and your policy details to us, and we will make the payment within 7 working days of completion of the documentation.
