The Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Act 2019, effective from September 1, 2019, significantly increased penalties for traffic violations across India. The following fines apply in Nashik:

FASTag is mandatory for all vehicles in India with effect from February 15, 2021, as per a Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) notification. Without a valid FASTag on your vehicle, you are liable to pay double the toll charge at all national highway toll plazas.
