RC Renewal: How to Apply for a Car RC Renewal?

1. Online process

• Visit the official website of Parivahan Sewa

• Click on vehicle-related services

• Select your state and nearest RTO to proceed

• From the options available under RC-related services, choose Renewal of Registration

• You will be required to enter the vehicle registration and chassis numbers

• Click on detail verification

• Make the payment to finish the process. After successful payment, the RC gets updated.

The online RC renewal process is not available for all the states. So, check if your state allows online renewal of RC or not before proceeding.

2. Offline Process

• Visit your nearest RTO and get Form 25

• You may also download Form 25 from the Parivahan Sewa website

• Fill out the form and submit it along with the required documents

• Pay the RC renewal charges to complete the process.

What happens when you fail to renew RC before expiry?
