Neck exercises:
Sitting up in the right posture and rotating your neck in a semi-circle from left to right is one of the best exercises to stretch the muscles on the back of the neck. Additionally, you can do full neck rolls i.e. rotating the head in circles in both clockwise and anticlockwise directions to relax the muscles of the neck and shoulder. Upper body stretching:
Stretching of arms, legs, and shoulders is very important as it helps in increasing blood flow within these parts of the body making them feel relaxed and calm. Stretching desk exercises include stretching of the triceps, overhead reach stretch, upper body, and arm stretch, shoulder stretch, forward stretch, and trunk rotation.
Lower body stretches:
This includes stretching of the legs, hips, and hamstrings. You can also indulge in taking a walk while talking on the phone, or a walk to water booths, and lunch stations.
Yoga:
Nowadays many of the corporate offices promote healthy living therefore they have a dedicated space for yoga and breathing practises. Carrying your yoga mat and doing yoga and breathing techniques will help overcome muscle stress.
